Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of NurseShift : Paycheck Tracker (“NurseShift”), an iOS app published by Khandker Tafiqul Islam. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use NurseShift on Apple devices you own or control, in line with Apple’s App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app or any part of it.

2. Your account and data

NurseShift does not require you to create an account with us. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your device secure. Data you create in the app is yours; see the privacy policy for how it is handled.

3. Subscriptions and payment

Some features require a paid subscription.

• Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account, not by us
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings on your device, under your name, then Subscriptions
• Prices vary by region and may change; you will be told before any change affects you
• Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, not by us

Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use NurseShift to break the law, to infringe anyone’s rights, to interfere with the app’s operation or security, or to access it by any means other than the interfaces provided.

5. Availability and changes

Features may be added, changed or removed as the app develops. We aim to keep the app available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and support for older iOS versions may end over time.

6. Third-party services

NurseShift relies on services operated by other companies, including Apple. Their terms apply to their part of the service, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

7. Pay figures are estimates

NurseShift calculates estimates from the rates, differentials and overtime rules you enter. It is not a payroll system, a tax tool, or financial or legal advice, and it does not replace your employer’s payroll department or your union contract. Always check the figures against your official pay stub. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, and for any decision you make based on the results.

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Khandker Tafiqul Islam is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of NurseShift. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Termination

You may stop using NurseShift at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law rules, and without limiting any consumer rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.

11. Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for NurseShift. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the “last updated” date above will change and, where required, you will be notified in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
